Task

The user was asked to start a Technique Mode balance session for a demi plié, customise feedback settings, begin the session, access the replay feature, and return to the home screen.

Observations

• The user navigated through the interface confidently, verbally explaining each step as they progressed
• No confusion was observed when selecting Technique Mode or the demi plié session
• The user recognised the option to customise feedback settings before starting the session
• After clarification on how the prototype simulates live feedback, the user continued without difficulty
• The replay feature was accessed easily, with no hesitation
• Slight hesitation occurred when navigating from session summary back to the home screen, but the task was still completed independently

Key Insight

• The overall navigation and structure of the interface is intuitive and easy to follow
• Minor friction exists in the transition between session summary and home, suggesting this step is less clearly defined

Design Implication

• Maintain the current structure and clarity of the main flows, as they support confident navigation
• Improve the visibility or hierarchy of navigation options when exiting a session (e.g. clearer “Return Home” action or stronger visual distinction from session summary)
