Storyboarding and Sitemaps
During class, we were allotted time to collaborate in groups and create our own storyboards. To establish the sequence, we initially crafted a preliminary sketch before progressing to the final storyboard.
We were given the opportunity to construct sitemaps for our dashboard, which proved to be beneficial in visualising the complete content and structure of the dashboard.
Ideations and Sketches
To commence my UI design, I utilised my research findings to streamline the features I wanted to incorporate into my dashboard. I organised these in a mind map. Subsequently, I transitioned to sketching, which allowed me to outline the overall visual concept and determine how each feature would be presented. This process involved assessing the space required for each feature to effectively showcase vital information and facilitated the identification of screen grouping and layout for the dashboard.
User Personas
I used Chat GPT to create user personas for this project. I went in and edited some details about the user to suit my target audience. These helped me gain a sense of empathy towards the user which will change the way I think of the design.
